NB: 'Na Tondi Wa' means 'I love you' in the Duala/Bakweri languages of the Sawa people of Cameroon.
To those of you who have been most patient, the video is finally here. Directed by Freddie Hagman and Amanuel Mehari, this afrocentric video of what seems to a dreamy tale of fated lovers celebrates culture, romance history and the avenue at which they collide. The song is from 'The Ring Of Blue Fire' album, and is produced by DixieHype of Berkeley, California, we hope you enjoy.

So, after weeks or even months of uncertainty, postponing and the unconventional style hard work, the music video to the song ''celebrate'' which was released on Wednesday, September 25th, almost a year ago was finally put out. Working on this project with director Freddie Hagman(www.fmhagman.com) was certainly a most delightful experience. Shot on an awesomely warm day in the summer, it must have been June, or July , the only plan we had for this shoot was 'improvise'. We were originally going to shoot for ''Mr. Feel Good'' first, but a split second, last minute decision took us another way - which we dont regret, atleast not yet . Calling in the music family from Jönköping , we all met up at Gothenburg's Brunnsparken fountain - yes, the same one in the video, and from there, we took it the Chabe's. Then to the Slottskogen park. Then back to the fountain, meeting so many pleasant characters along the way, it was a typical day in the life of type video, as we did all the things we'd normally do on a warm summer day. The unpredicted randomness of the shoot, and the fiery diversity of the characters was an experience never to forget- and we wont. From the gorgeous Cloud-sized afro haired Mico, to the pretty Hijab-clad Aisha, to punk band members Erik and Fredrik ,among many others who cameoed, shooting the scenes at dreadlocked Isabel's crib was all too pleasant ! Atleast we all had a blast -I know Mehari and Dakey did! And that skateboard mishap about two minutes into the video can totally be explained - I could not handle it, yup, you read right, I couldn not skate to save my life, and that wouldn't be the first the board made me bite some dust. In effect, we tried to tell a simple story, one that anyone could relate to - it doesn't take too much to be happy, and appreciating the seemingly meaningless moments breeds timeless memories. Considering that Mehari, whom I have worked with for almost three years, or more, just moved to South Africa for a long while the day the video was released, and that Dakey who hates participating in anything outside the music studio went of his way, I think we indeed made the best of the moment - immortalized a story too long to tell. Well when it was all done, after 6 or more hours of shooting, we took it home, dropped of the equipment, took it to the Kings Head pub, grabbed a couple drinks and ended at a rave in the middle of some forest - a day of epic Randomness. Awesome hair day! Erik, Mico, Fredrik (L to R)
